The ever so anticipated London Fashion Week took place last week, and even though my invitation to the Vivieene Westwood show got lost in the post (clearly…), I still made my way down to Somerset House to be inspired by the attendees of the shows.
Being ever unpredictable, the style conscious LFW goers not only showcased a mixture of casual and contemporary, but some outright left field, yet ingenious and creative outfits and accessories. Some of my personal favourites included a lady wearing a huge mini-mouse-esque black flower headband, to a man wearing a mask completely made of blue and yellow Lego bricks! (Photos of this will feature in my next post!).
This year I went for something a little more comfortable, (albeit stylish, last years court shoes did not bode well with cobble pavement…). I opted for a khaki jumpsuit, which had a certain military look that I thought was perfect for LFW. I paired this with my knee high suede boots, and brought the outfit to life with some detailing, by safety pinning a gold headband chain around the top of one of the boots. Needless to say I was quite pleased with the outcome.

I love the photos! You look great. It was a great choice to add a little more detail to the look with the chain on the boot!
